Limassol Shopping

The main shopping areas in Limassol are on Anexartiatis and Agiou Andreou Streets and Makarious III Ave., which encircles the whole centre of town. You will find there many clothes, footwear, leather articles and also some first class jewellery shops.

There is a Marks and Spencer amid several other clothes shops and the Agora shopping arcade has outlets selling high class jewellery and crafts. On the sea front a number of shops sell copper goods and pottery.

Central Market

The market is an ideal place to shop for local wickerwork, olive oil, Turkish delight as well as fresh fruit and dairy products. The market hall is made of stone and features two arched gates with Doric columns. It has recently undergone a major refurbishment programme.

The market is surrounded by plenty of traditional tavernas which make a good choice for a pleasant lunch.

Address; Saripoulou in the old district of Limassol near the Town Hall. The market is open from 7am -2pm Monday to Saturday.

Cyprus Handicraft Centre

The goods on offer include locally made jewellery, mosaics, woodcarvings, lace and a variety of other gifts and souvenirs. The goods are made using traditional Cypriot methods.

Address: 25 Thermodos Street, Limassol. Open daily from 7.30am -2.30pm. Also 3pm-6pm Wednesday except July and August
