 Ayia Napa Beaches

Nissi Beach is located 2km west of Ayia Napa and is popular with families and couples alike. It has long stretches of gently shelving fine white sand with beautiful clear blue waters.

Tavernas, bars and a selection of tourist shops line the beach area giving a relaxed holiday atmosphere. There are plenty of watersports available for the more adventurous - jetskis, banana boats, water rings and even bungee jumping are on offer!

The beach can get very crowed in high summer but that's part of it's appeal and unique atmosphere.

Makrinissos Beach is linked to the centre of Ayia Napa by a cycle track. Close by on a craggy peninsula you’ll see 19 Hellenic tombs carved into the rock.

This large beach is probably the most popular with the Cypriots, particularly at weekends, and at approximately 6km out from town families and the slightly older Napa visitors find the beach more suitable.
As with almost all, it offers full services and water sports, from parasending to paddle boating. A relaxing atmosphere for a chill out day.

Another lovely sandy beach, Agia Thekla is a bit further west of the town and is worth visiting for its tiny church in a rock cave.
